We kicked of the new Sunday school
year with a special day at Good Shepherd Lutheran. The classes were
given a sheet with seven riddles on it. They had to solve each riddle
and find a sheet at each location. The sheets contained a letter and a
corresponding description of a part of the worship service.
The sheets were then unscrambled to form the word:
worship.
They were given a cover sheet and then assembled the sheets into a
"Worship Booklet". This kicked off our theme for the year. We will be
learning all about the worship service and participating in special
worship services throughout the year.
